We silenced fosstodon.org a few hours ago because of things like the screenshots here: https://radical.town/@Blakely/102389297170811389

We intend to suspend the instance because this isn’t a bad user or a group of bad users, it’s the admin.

Because ACP members follow many fosstodon users, we wanted to give you all about 3 days to reach out to your fosstodon pals to exchange alt accounts (or invite them here) and/or encourage them to ask their admin to stop being so fashy.

@cosine apparently not. I used to be able to use the search bar to search domains and see the first handful of people from an instance but that doesn’t seem to be working now :(

The super annoying workaround would be to export your follow list, and then search it as a text doc.

@Emma this whole matter with fosstodon is still weirding me out because it was on my shortlist for instances to join when i first started mastodon, but i thought their rules were far too restrictive for my comfort...
