Also, the way I discovered this was when I found one of my partner XR capsules on the floor, obviously chewed up, so don’t take for granted that they won’t go for your capsules because the sweet stuff is inside.

(It was a 10 mg, and our kitty was eventually OK, if entirely messed up for 18 hours... I, on the other hand, was an absolute wreck of worry for her. Thank god it was one of his and not one of my 20 mg ones!)
