there's a weird thing that happens anytime there is a reporting of major revelations of wrongdoing. And I guess it's what I would call the Surprise Conversation.
The Surprise Conversation is when people immediately respond to a revelation by saying this is no surprise, this was probably already happening anyway.
And I think that needs to be identified and confronted as a form of derailment. Because the effect of that reaction is to tell people that is not interesting, to direct attention away
