Yes, you can choose which CC symbol you want, and integrate it into the picture. It can even be transparent, embossed, so that it isn't too jarring. That's it, then you share the picture and anyone can use it for the purposes you have chosen.
Alternatively, if you put your name or a unique handle on the picture, then it is attributed. Again, does not have to be too prominent.
@b_cavello It really is to make sure that if someone wants to know who made it, they can find you, or (CC) they can find that they *can* use it without defrauding you.
@dBu_fs My handle is actually already incorporated in the image :D but it's pretty subtle. (it's on the GNU fed patch.) I'll put the CC symbol.
