can I say that it's *really distressing* to hear POC say that they might as well leave mastodon.

Not distressing as in "I'm made anxious by hearing their complaint", (though it does make me anxious), "and wish I didn't have to hear their complaints"

It's distressing that we haven't made a space that listens to their voices and that things are bad enough that "I might as well go back to TWITTER" makes sense, like twitter is a more welcoming place for them.

mastodon.xyz: very large instance. Local timeline is very twitterlike: short toots, not many rants. Lots of French, lots of linux.

witches.town: lots of French, gender quirks, playful. Few men. It's like the good parts of queer twitter, but with added witchiness.

You can meter my stress level by counting the length of my sentences multiplied by the number of missing punctuation marks.

I just figured out that this rule does not only apply to social media but in general and omg everything makes so much sense now.

This 4/20, pls think about the government admitting the war on drugs was smokescreened racism and kept doing it anyway. Think about how in the states where it is legalized, black people still face so many roadblocks in selling it that white people don't.
