Got that Battlegrounds game, saw BattlEye was the anti-cheat and immediately asked for a refund.
That software is incredibly invasive, can scan memory in addition to files on disk, installs a kernel mode driver, can remote-execute code, and their privacy police/EULA amounts to "promise we're not doing anything bad, but we're gonna keep your data for an 'indeterminate' amount of time."
On top of all that the devs are incredibly flippant if asked about these things.
