Neoliberals (and neoenvironmentalists) keep conning people that there's anything we can do about the Anthropocene now at all. There isn't. The damage is already done and the momentum will catch up eventually. All we can do is get ready for the hell ride.
But I agree with the idea more people need to come together, probably in local communities, and face the situation together. They will, as the shit increasingly hits the fan.
