My partner was reported for breaching "community standards" with this #facebook comment regarding the atrocity committed against Eurydice Dixon.

A subsequent post about this #censorship resulted in a 24h ban.

This is the same thing PoC point out about white supremacist attacks on anti-racist dialogue.

How did we reach this point, where the majority of people are beholden to an oppressive, white-cismale domainated corporation for their news and speech?

I really don't get how that qualified as hate speech. The only group being undeservedly compared to monsters in that post are dogs 😑

@kingannoy apparently big platforms like facebook and twitter have blacklists of words like "white", "man", etc., and flag posts that have been assessed as containing those terms and having an angry tone.

It's bad enough that it silences legitimate anger from oppressed groups, in this case you're right, the metaphor is very literal and it's all calmly composed.

Wow, that is messed up...

I guess that is what you get when you filter everything by algorithm.

If you do get a ""impartial"" algorithm to do your policing it would be weird to exclude a group from that, even if that one group is the only group that is not oppressed.
