“The yellow vests movement in France is now shifting decisively to the left, as shown by the huge anti-capitalist bloc in Paris on the December 8. Led by prominent campaigners against police violence, The Adama Committee for Justice and Truth, it included railworkers, striking postal workers, other rank and file workers, students, migrant workers groups, important collectives such as The Rosa Parks Collective, sex workers, LGBTQ groups and many more.”
This is an incredibly important video, because it features the Adama Committee, and features the brown and black people in the banlieues who are refusing to collaborate with cops and refusing to allow the right to have any foothold in this moment. The word “convergence” instead of alliance has been used throughout Left conversations about GiletsJaunes and it’s in this video we see convergence between students, POC, working class, etc
Well I'll be darned
Thanks for tooting
@mooncake this must be on archive.org so that people remember
Anticapitalist Mastodon instance. Party means fun, not political party. But we're still political.
