I recently finished one of the largest beadwork pieces I've done, a medallion showing 8 blue and white lightning bolts against a green background around a blue and white center, giving a visual impression of a sun in negative colours, titled, "water is life is change."

The folk I get beads from have been seeing supply shortages, but recently restocked so I'll be restocking, myself. If anyone wants to send money to offset that expense, it'd be much appreciated. ko-fi.com/emsenn

The Interminable Catastrophe by Bedour Alagraa

offshootjournal.org/the-interm

"Without destabilizing our core assumptions about catastrophe, we run the risk of rendering theory inept for confronting this predicament [of our earth’s ecology and its assumed life-span], and equally run the risk of complicity with the overdetermination of empirical or social science interpretations and political offerings concerning what is essentially a problem for which we have yet to develop an adequate grammar. # Software From Another World

> We undermine not only unions, but every aspect of the worker's life: AirBnB spikes rents, Uber disenfranchises drivers, a thousand streaming services reinvent cable, Amazon fucks everybody, and so on. Despite any niche expertise, these are companies made possible by software, by the lending of software labor to capitalist ends. We can choose to deny them, if we stand together.
